Summer Wines Guide 2009 - João Paulo Martins

Miogo Branco 2005 - Good on the visual side, with a fine and persistent bubble, green fruit aromas still quite present and generally showing very good health. Pleasant on the mouth, with some residual sugar, making it perfectly suited to aperitifs. The acidity is good and the wine is well balanced on the whole.
Miogo Espadeiro 2007 - In truth, it is a rose sparkling wine, salmon coloured, with nice aromas, lively and very fresh. Very good on the mouth, with well integrated acidity, this wine has a strong character and presence. For the table, to go with delicate fish dishes.
Tapada dos Monges Espadeiro 2008 - Presenting a clear ruby colour, an original aroma, marked with hints of gooseberry and notes of dry vegetal. On the mouth it shows itself very dry and with some bubbles, capable of going well with grilled fish or cold salads.
