Tapada dos Monges Red
The brand Tapada dos Monges arises as a tribute to the monks who, in the 12th Century, introduced winemaking to this region.
Launched in 1992, the Red wine Tapada dos Monges was quite a breakthrough, compared to the other traditional red wines of Vinho Verde, due to balanced acidity and softer tannins.
Tasting notes
For a distinguished red wine we recommend Tapada dos Monges, a young and fresh Vinho Verde, with intense blackberry and cherry aromas. On the palate it shows matured fruit and lingering finish. It goes well with traditional food.Should be served at 8° – 10°C.
