Miogo Red

The Miogo brand has its origins at the Quinta do Miogo in Guimarães. It all began with Don Togon de Miogo who, in the 16th Century, planted vines on this land, golden with sunlight and freshened by rain. The domain of Miogo was shared by many generations and owners until, in 1755, Domingos Guimarães was granted a coat of arms, attesting to his nobility, with axes and olive trees. This coat of arms is the actual symbol of the Sparking Vinho Verde Miogo. Miogo Red rises as a self-challenge from the enologist, trying to show the versatility of Vinho Verde and demonstrating all the potential of the red wines of the region.

Tasting notes

The Miogo Sparkling Vinho Verde Brut Red has a clean and clear aroma with defined hints of ripe red fruit, red foam and a fine, persistent bubble that fills the flute. In the mouth, it reveals all its magnitude in an explosion of the senses. The aromatic intensity together with the harmonious, delicate flavor transport you to another dimension, stopping even time itself. Should be served at 6º - 8ºC.
