Tapada dos Monges Vinhão

The brand Tapada dos Monges arises as a tribute to the monks who, in the 12th Century, introduced winemaking to this region.

Launched in 2005, the single variety wine Vinhão was conceived to be a traditional red Vinho Verde and a tribute to the region.

Tasting notes

When tradition is paramount we suggest Tapada dos Monges Vinhão. This red Vinho Verde is made from of the noblest grape varieties of the region which confers a deep ruby colour, blackberry and cherry aromas and a taste of matured fruit, typical of this variety. It is a perfect combination for traditional dishes (game, stews…).

Should be served at 10° – 12°C.
